So, the story goes like this. My dad makes a German dish called Roladen every year for Christmas, and had unfortunately (for him) left the packages of meat out on the counter while he and his wife went out to the store. My siblings and I were left alone. Unsupervised, if you will. We ventured into the kitchen, and I casually enquired,
“Um… should we hide the Christmas meat?”
my step-brother replied instantly,
“Absolutely.”
And so a tradition was born. This song was created today to commemorate the brilliance of our invention. Enjoy.
